Designing the Facade 🪄

Placing Meshes:
- Open the Content Browser and select one or multiple meshes (e.g., doors, windows).
- Use the C key to cycle through your selected meshes until you find one you like.
- Click on the building where you'd like to place the mesh.
- To fill all floors vertically with the selected mesh, hold ‘Shift’ and click

Deleting Elements:
- To erase a building element, press E to activate the erase mode. The cursor turns blue, allowing you to click and drag to delete items.

💡 PLACING INTERACTIVE ELEMENTS: If you want openable doors or windows, you can place them the same way as your meshes. Select the blueprint from the ‘Content Browser’ and click wherever you want to place it.

User Interface
Under the ‘Create’ section, where you’ve adjusted the base parameters, you have 4 more sections.
- PLACEMENT: If your floor height doesn’t match witch the height of your selected mesh, Construction Mode is increasing or decreasing the mesh size on the Z axis by default. You can change that by enabling ‘Maintain Proportion’
- SNAPPING: You can adjust the distance from where the selected mesh will snap to points or disabling both the corner and middle snapping poins..
- ERASE: You can toggle ‘Erase Mode’ to delete elements which you’ve already placed. You can also use the shortcut ‘E’
- COLOR: When you’re in building edit mode, Construction Mode represents the different floors with different colors by default. You can turn off this visualization here.
