Getting Started 🎯
In this section, we'll guide you through the initial steps to get started with Construction Mode. Before you dive into the specifics, make sure you have everything in place.
Engine Version Compability
Construction Mode supports Unreal Engine version 5.1 or higher.
Operating System
Currently, Construction Mode supports Windows only.
Installation and Setup
To install the plugin into your Unreal Engine project, please follow these simple steps:
- First, you need our free Starter Kit, which includes all the resources and master materials the plugin is using. We included it in your plugin download link or you can download it from here as well:

- Locate the Content Folder: Inside the extracted StarterKit folder, you will find a folder named "Content."
- Copy the Files: Open the "Content" folder and copy all files and folders inside it.
- Paste into Your Project's Content Folder: Navigate to your Unreal Engine project's directory and open the "Content" folder. Paste the copied files here. Make sure not to paste them into any subfolder, or the materials and meshes will lose their references.
- Locate the Plugins Folder: Inside the extracted folder of Construction Mode, you will find a folder named "Plugins." It includes all plugin versions, copy the engine version you need.
- Paste into Your Project's Plugins Folder: Navigate to your Unreal Engine project's directory and open the "Plugins" folder. If there's no Plugins folder, create one. Paste the copied files here. Make sure not to paste them into any subfolder.

NOTE: Before opening the project with the plugin first, make sure to either paste the whole Starter Kit first Without pasting this first, the plugin assets will lose their references. If you've already pasted and references are lost, simply add the starter kit and then overwrite the plugin again to refresh the references.
